Internships

We have no specific volunteer position opened at the moment. However, we are willing to look if one of our offices (regional or international) has the possibility to welcome you.

Are you interested in sustainability and food system? Do you speak fluent English? Is your project thesis concerning one of our focus topics and would you like to collaborate with us? Are you searching for an internship for your university programme? Would you like to put you fresh ideas and expertise at the service of Rikolto?

Please send your cover letter and curriculum vitae to the following email: jobs.international@rikolto.org.

Make sure to answer all the questions below.

  1. An idea of the duration and timing of your internship. Ideally it should be of min. 3 months - max. 6 months. Would you be working full time with us (38h)? Or only several days per week?
  2. Would this internship be linked to an education? If so, are there any requirements from the school that we should know? Is there a link to a thesis?
  3. Please note that internships are usually not remunerated in our organisation. We can contribute time and coaching, but have few possibilities to bear the costs of tickets or accommodation. Would that work for you?
  4. Why are you searching for an internship at Rikolto and how would you see yourself contributing to our goal?
  5. What are your expectations
