Agribusiness Market Ecosystem Alliance

The AMEA platform was initiated by SCOPEinsight and founded together with international partners IFC, ICCO, Rikolto, NCBA CLUSA, ACDI VOCA and Argidius. AMEA aims to create a continuously improving, quality controlled ecosystem, based on a common vision, definition, and standardised methodology for enabling farmer professionalism.

Africa Rice Center

AfricaRice is a pan-African Center of Excellence for rice research, development and capacity building. Together with Africa Rice we built a program in West Africa. We work together on the monitoring and the documentation of the lessons learned and on scaling up the results from our pilot projects.

Beyond Chocolate is a partnership for sustainable Belgian chocolate with the chocolate industry, major retailers, civil society, social impact investors and universities. Rikolto is one of the signatories and actively participates in this network.

International Centre for Tropical Agriculture

CIAT works in collaboration with hundreds of partners to help developing countries make farming more competitive, profitable, and resilient through smarter, more sustainable natural resource management. It helps policymakers, scientists, and farmers respond to some of the most pressing challenges of our time, including food insecurity and malnutrition, climate change, and environmental degradation. Rikolto has a close partnership with CIAT for the application of the LINK methodology. CIAT is a member of CGIAR.

Cocoa Sustainability Partnership

The CSP is network that provides a multi-stakeholder platform in which private sector, government, research, farmer organisations, NGOs , etc. work together to tackle issues and support the cocoa sector in Indonesia in international markets, with an additional focus on smallholder farmers' livelihood improvement. It exists to increase communication, coordination and collaboration between public and private stakeholders engaged in cocoa sustainability activities for the mutual benefit of all cocoas sector players. Rikolto has an active role in CSP and is also a member of the board.

Global Coffee Platform

The Global Coffee Platform (GCP) is a multi-stakeholder membership association dedicated to advancing coffee sustainability with a vision of a thriving, sustainable coffee sector for generations to come. GCP enables coffee producers, traders, roasters, governments and NGOs to align and multiply their efforts and investments, collectively address local priorities and critical issues, scale up local sustainability programmes and grow the global market for sustainable coffee across the coffee world.

We are a member of the Task Force and participate in the development and finalisation of the "Offensive riz de l’Afrique de l’ouest." Rikolto also implements a part of the program. We see to it that the interests of small-scale rice farmers are taken into account in the ECOWAS program.

Rikolto is partner of this 10-Year Framework for Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns (10YFP), a multi-stakeholder initiative to accelerate the shift towards more sustainable food systems.

The RUAF Global Partnership on Sustainable Urban Agriculture and Food Systems is a consortium of expert institutions and individuals that includes cities, research institutes and NGOs, with a recognised track record in urban and peri-urban agriculture and urban food system solutions. The partnership is a platform for learning and knowledge brokering between science, policy and practice.

Sustainable Rice Platform

The SRP is a global multi-stakeholder alliance established in 2011. Originally co‐convened by the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), SRP is now an independent membership association. The SRP pursues transformation initiatives to contribute to increasing the global supply of affordable rice, improved livelihoods for rice producers and reduced environmental impact of rice production. Rikolto is member of the Board and has rolled out SRP initiatives with farmer organisations in 9 countries.

The Sustainable Food Lab was launched in 2004 to create a sustainable food system by helping organizations turn ideas into action. Rikolto is a member of the Sustainable Food Lab. We participate in exchange meetings or workshops, their yearly leadership summit and their impact measurement project group.

Voice Network

Voice Network

Voice Network is a global network of NGOs and Trade Unions working on sustainability in cocoa, tackling issues such as poverty, deforestation and child labour. Rikolto recently joined this network.
