We are looking for a job student to join our global communications team for a period of four weeks in July or August, to support the transfer of content from our old web platform to our new website.

About the job

Rikolto will be launching a new website in the fall of 2022. We have to transfer all content from our current web platform (drupal) to our new web platform (webflow). We are looking for a job student to support us in this process by transferring content that is already published on our current website (news, project pages) onto the new website.

At the start of your student job, we will introduce you into webflow and jointly decide on a content transfer planning list. Most content will be in English, although we might occasionally ask you to include content in French or Spanish.

Your responsibilities

  • Transferring content to the new web platform: copy-pasting text, saving and uploading pictures and working on the lay-out to make sure each page looks picture-perfect,

  • Correcting small errors in the content (typos, name changes)

  • Continuously updating the overview list to keep your colleagues informed of the progress

Your profile

  • You are interested in sustainability and the link with food.

  • You have a background in or affinity with communications.

  • You are tech-savvy and know your way around publishing on a website.

  • You are familiar with Microsoft 365.

  • You have a good knowledge of English. French, Dutch and/or Spanish are a plus.

  • You can work independently.

  • You are punctual and passionate about deadlines.

Job details

  • Duration: four weeks, full-time, i.e. 152 hours, between 1 July and 31 August. The exact period can be decided together.

  • Salary: €13/hour

  • Location: you work at our office in Leuven (Blijde Inkomststraat 50) at least one day a week.
