The Junior Programme aims to contribute to the development of a new generation of young people who, following their experience as a Junior Expert, will commit to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). During their field experience, the focus is on developing competences, innovation, contact with the local reality and networking. The Junior Experts work at least 1 and at most 2 years in a project of Enabel or of one of the Belgian Non-governmental Actors that are affiliated to the Junior Programme, in this case Rikolto.
We are currently looking for a young talent to join the Tanzanian Rikolto team as Junior Expert in Food Smart Cities. This person will be supporting the implementation of an EU-funded programme focusing on the development of sustainable horticulture supply chains and food & nutrition security in Tanzania's Southern Highlands.
